Have you ever heard of natural cleaning products? Today, words like natural, organic and biochemicals are heard more often than not. The change from chemical to natural is slowly being seen in today’s products.

The use of chemical products can be seen in almost every household today. The use of chemical products from cleaning to deodorizing is common to every household since we use them for day-to-day living, but now, the use of natural products as cleaning agents is gaining grounds. Why the use of natural over chemicals?

Chemical products have some kind of warning label on their packages. These warning labels either requires you to wear a pair of glove to something that requires you to have adequate ventilation since inhalation can cause damage, but chemical products are good in removing stubborn stains than the natural products. Chemical products leave some kind of residue that might still be harmful, while natural based products are safe.

The use of chemical products also means more hard work for the environment to clean it up since it either needs to be broken down or at least neutralized. Consider the fact that almost all households are still using chemical products just to get rid of the stain or any other to clean their house means more work for the environment since not all countries are implementing a waste treatment plant facility, for example, sewage treatment facilities.

Today, caring for our environment has become synonymous with using natural products. The use of chemicals can leave a long term side-effect to the environment since our natural resources are beginning to dwindle and the use of natural products is one way of trying to conserve what’s left of our resources.

Natural products are safe both in the environment and household use. Price factor is also an issue. Natural products are cheaper than chemical products, perhaps, costs nothing at all. Exposure to natural products is less harmful than using a chemical one. The risks and benefits are more favorable to using natural-based products than using chemical-based products.

Natural products like vinegar, lemon and salt are often overlooked as ingredients but they are now being introduced also as cleaning agents as seen on TV or any other type of media. Vinegar for example is being used for removing mineral deposits and as a deodorizer. Vinegar is also used together either with borax or baking soda for removing stains.

Lemon is also used as a deodorizer. The acidity of lemon can also be used to remove some mineral build-up and oil stains. Salt can also be used to remove stains and other deposits. Baking soda, often used in pastries, can also be used as an abrasive cleaner. It also deodorizes, put it in a container inside the refrigerator and it absorbs odor.

Making people educated about substituting chemical products to natural products in order to make a difference in both household and the environment is one way of helping the future generations enjoy a healthy living and protect our resources.

Maternity Acupressure is considered to be one of the best natural induction methods, and is the third most used method in the world. It can have a very positive effect when preparing you and your baby for labor and throughout the labor process. It is a very simple hands-on technique that you can do in the comfort of your own home. Using Acupressure to induce labor is highly recommended because not only does it induce labor, it can ease the discomforts of childbirth and speed up the birthing process.

Men and women both understand how difficult giving birth can be. Although men may not experience childbirth first hand, the intense feeling of pain can very easily be read from their loved one giving birth. Many women feel they must use various drugs and medications offered by the hospital just to help deal with the pain both during and after labor.

But medical inductions are becoming more and more expensive, therefore, less and less people are able to justify their cost. Luckily, there are number of ways to induce labor naturally and at home. Some are more effective than others, of course, but the list includes aromatherapy, belly massages, exercise routines, and more.

Maternity Acupressure is a naturally appealing option to use when inducing childbirth, and it only makes sense to use it in conjunction with the soothing properties of aromatherapy. When paired with aromatherapy oils, acupressure can help the mother relax her entire body for the coming process. Aromatherapy will help to relax tensed muscles, creating a better environment for performing acupressure easily. Stress can be relieved, and can be soothed by natural scents, such as prime rose or raspberry. Primrose oil is already a popular oil being used to help the cervix begin to dilate.

When the baby drops to the cervix, the oil will serve as a lubricant to help push the baby out, reducing the amount of friction and pain the mother feels. When used in conjunction with acupressure points designed to help strengthen contractions and ease pain, the aromatherapy technique can work wonders in eliminating pain. This is also very helpful in recovery and there are no medication side effects to worry about.

Don’t let the cost of a medical induction force you to carry your baby past term. Be sure to check into your options before you feel forced into making a decision like that!

By John Lisimba

Number of words: 534

When you go into business, your biggest worry is competition. Surely you would agree with me that if there was no competition, there would be little or no need to market your products. Then, if you fail to beat your rivals, you could be mercilessly swallowed by cut – throat competition. That would mark the end of your business and beginning of your miserable life. In this article I unveil the one time unbeatable formula to reaping big sales no matter how stiff competition might be.

It all starts with being innovative. Every living thing craves change. The innovative businessman who understands this principle capitalises on it to satisfy his/her clients in return for fat cheques.

He looks for areas of problems or set backs. He/she provides solutions. He/she observes his/her product being consumed and continues to look for better ways of satisfying his/her clients.

Let me give you an example.

One day as I walked down a street, I saw a man who repairs shoes. The shoes lacked polish. I then suggested to him that he should be applying polish to the shoes he repairs so that the owners get them back in better state. Nobody repairing shoes was doing that. He accepted my advice and in no time had more clients than he could handle!

I further thought of extending my innovative assistance to the shoe polish manufacturer. I wanted him to find a germicide that could kill most germs found on shoes as they tread in dirty places like toilets. As he markets his product, he could claim to be the only one manufacturing shoe polish that kills most germs found on shoes. He could go further to claim that simple diseases like the common cold and coughs could be history!

“This is the only shoe polish all over the world that I know has a germicide that virtually kills all known germs found on shoes.”

When it comes to writing a sales letter “the only polish that I know has a germicide” could become the Unique Selling Proposition. In business competition, this Unique Selling Proposition could remarkably boost your sales above your competitors’.

You must remember to weave your unique selling proposition in your sales letter. What I mean by this is that it must be repeated several times in your sales letter. This is done because there is power in repetition. Whatever is repeated to the mind several

times becomes convincing. It is taken as truth. That is the power lying in advertisements.

Business competition is dreadful, especially when it reaches cut-throat levels. In direct mail/response businesses, the use of unique selling Proposition is the most reliable and unbeatable formula to reaping big sales. If you use it and keep on improving your product, you become invincible — and wealthy.

You may not think that a plastic tarpaulin can help you with green living. However, these versatile items are excellent for a large number of environmentally sound uses. Recycling gets a lot of attention as a way to save the Earth, but people frequently forget that reducing our use of resources in the first place is a better method. By using tarps to protect your building, landscaping, and other materials from damage and degradation, you can assure yourself that you’ll use the minimum possible.

When left out to the weather, metal rusts, materials like concrete react and solidify before they are supposed to, paint can be contaminated, and plastics degrade. To keep your materials safe, place them on pallets above the ground and be sure to cover them with the appropriate tarp. Choosing the right tarp for your use is an important part of protecting the environment. The wrong tarp might not cover your materials adequately, or may degrade before its purpose is served. Because of this, you should be certain to make the right choice the first time you buy a tarp.

Originally, tarps were made of oiled canvas. This kind is still available, and is appropriate for some uses. However, canvas tarps are generally very heavy and awkward, as well as being expensive. A well-selected poly tarp is a better choice for many applications. It’s possible to find polyethylene tarps made out of recycled materials. The item you use to protect your building materials may once have made up drink and food containers. Polyethylene accounts for the majority of plastics recycling. However, plastics cannot be recycled into items that contain edibles, because of contamination risk. This means that a lot of recycled plastics see a new life as stuffing for pillows and jackets, trash bags, and, of course, tarps.

You’re probably used to seeing the standard blue tarp sold at hardware stores. These are good for lightweight applications that don’t expose them to the sun much. They’re usually about 6 mils thick. If you’re looking for a heavy duty tarp to take some punishment, like a carport cover, try getting an 11 or 12 mil tarp, or even a super heavy duty grade one – 23 mils thick. Unfortunately, like lumber, the specified size of the tarp isn’t actually the size. Most of these items will be 4-6 inches smaller in every dimension. The size specified on the package is the size prior to hemming. Be sure to take this into account when buying your tarp.

For specialized applications, you can find tarps made to do a variety of jobs. Corner reinforced tarps resist tearing, and UV treated ones are protected against the weakening that polyethylene often suffers because of sunlight exposure. Flame retardant tarps are available for use in areas subject to a lot of heat. If you want a tarp that will keep sunlight off of your materials, you can get specialty tarps that have an additional layer to reflect or block the sun’s rays. Silver sun blocking tarps reflect light away, keeping the items underneath cool in the summer. This means that covering your carport or temperature sensitive materials with this kind of tarp is an excellent idea.

Food and drinks cans make up around three percent of household waste that is thrown away by households in the UK on a daily basis. Around 75 percent of all drinks cans in the UK are made from aluminium although there are still almost 2 billion drinks cans that are made from steel. Food cans are often called tins because although they are made from steel, they have an ultra thin layer of tin that surrounds them.

If we consider that an average household goes through around 600 steel cans and 200 aluminium cans a year then it isnt hard to imagine the staggering amount of waste that is being generated by each and every one of us annually. We cannot go on burying this waste in landfill sites as the pressure on landfill sites is now nearing capacity and the estimations are that we will run out of space for new landfill sites within the next decade.

At the moment, approximately 80 percent of our household waste goes to landfill sites and as the amount of waste we produce is increasing each year we have to find new and creative ways of disposing of our waste. Landfill is no longer a viable option, not only because there isnt any space, but because landfill sites are not pleasant. There are risks associated with landfill that include the risk of explosion and also a risk of leakage of toxic pollutants into the surrounding earth and waterways which can present a health risk.

Basically, landfill sites are a threat to the environment so disposing of our waste in an environmentally friendly way that saves resources, energy and costs should be a matter of concern for all of us. Fortunately, more and more people are waking up to the idea of recycling. Local authorities also recognise the advantages of recycling and so roadside collections and the number of collection banks where you can deposit waste is on the increase.

Why recycle cans

Cans are one of the easiest items to recycle and the fact is, each and every can that ends up in landfill is a waste of a valuable resource and heres why. Producing new metal to make new cans depletes the earth of natural resources, such as iron, coal and water to make steel and bauxite to make aluminium and basically it costs more to produce new metal than it does to recycle it.

For example, recycling aluminium not only uses 95 percent less energy than it does to produce new aluminium if we recycle just 1kg of aluminium it saves 6kg of Bauxite. Similarly, if we recycle 1 tonne of steel it saves 1.5 tonnes of iron ore, half a tonne of coal, and uses 75 percent less energy than it does to make new steel. Recycling any type of metal reduces the CO2 emissions released into the atmosphere, reduces water pollution and massively reduces costs in general.

Cans are also 100 percent recyclable and can be recycled almost indefinitely without any loss of quality to the metal itself. Recycling metal is also a relatively simple process, in fact; it can take as little as six weeks for aluminium cans to be back on the supermarket shelves after collection.

One of the barriers to recycling other materials is the demand for the product. Take plastic for example; it can be cheaper to produce new plastic than to recycle it so there is less of a demand for used plastic. However, there is a great demand for used metal, so much so that there are schemes in operation that will pay you cash for your used aluminium cans.

Another barrier is sorting the waste. Sorting broken bits of glass can be a complex process but sorting aluminium from steel is not difficult. You can tell the difference between aluminium and steel using a simple magnet. If it sticks it is steel, which makes separation of steel very easy as magnets can be used to extract it.

So bearing in mind all the advantages involved in recycling cans, why are any food or drinks cans still ending up in landfill?

How you can make a difference

The truth is that we can all do more to protect the environment if we remember that each can dumped in landfill is a real waste. You can make a difference at home and at work by making sure that your cans are recycled and are not disposed of along with other rubbish. If kerbside collection is not available in your area yet, find out where the nearest collection bank or collection scheme is and deposit your cans there. If we all do our bit we can all benefit from a healthier environment and can preserve the earths resources for future generations.

Right now in the United States, there is a huge push for people to use alternative fuels as opposed to gasoline. There are many reasons for this push. Generally, it’s because alternative fuels are kinder to the environment and can help to combat the ever-growing problem of global warming.

The price of driving a car is rising at an alarming rate. It has become very expensive to drive a car, so people are looking out for ways to save money on their fuel.

Scientists are developing alternative fuels that can help not only the environment, but also the consumers checkbook. The new alternative fuels offer advantages in so many ways that people are really starting to take a look at these as an option over paying astronomical gasoline prices.

When consumers use alternative fuels both to gas up their car as well as heat and cool their homes, they are helping the environment as well as helping themselves.

The toxins that are released into the air when we burn gasoline and other fuels have shown to contribute to global warming and before we know it, winter will be as warm as summer.

In the simplest form, an alternative fuel is one that is not produced by using crude oil. They are simply fuels that replace conventional gasoline as a means of powering vehicles. Alternative fuels have desirable energy efficiency and pollution reduction features. The 1990 Clean Air Act encourages development and sale of alternative fuels.

There are many different kinds of alternative fuels and the most prominent one as well as the one that has been around the longest is ethanol.

Ethanol is made from corn which is a great help to our farmers as well as to consumers and the environment. Ethanol is sometimes called grain alcohol. It can also be made from organic materials including agricultural crops and waste, plant material left from logging, and trash including paper.

The alcohol found in alcoholic beverages is ethanol. However, the ethanol used for motor fuel is denatured, which means poison has been added so people can’t drink it. Some people believe that producing ethanol takes more energy than it gives back and for the most part, this is true. However, technologies have evolved in such a way that it is possible to increase the efficiency of producing ethanol.

The growing trend toward alternative fuels will probably grow as we become more and more conscious of how we are damaging our environment through our habits and products we use. New alternative fuels are being developed all the time and having a choice will certainly be a nice alternative itself.

The most recycled material in America is steel. After almost each use, steel can be reprocessed and used again in another form. Believe it or not, it takes approximately 6 vehicles to create the steel frame of the average sized home. There is almost no limit to the recycling that can be done to steel components.

Although recycling is done today in many steel mills by using an oxygen process, in the environment we live in today, with our modern technology, steel is melted electrically. This can be done several different ways. In most cases it is either recycled with an electric furnace, to create low carbon steel, or by using an induction furnace to create highly alloyed products.

Steel is so resilient that it is seldom affected by the climate. It can be used in very warm climates, as well as more frigid areas. It is everywhere you go, across bridges, through tunnels, in your car and in your home.

What is steel? Steel is primarily a mixture of iron and carbon. In actuality, it is the part of the mixture that controls the amount of carbon. Not only is steel stronger than iron alone, at can be used in many more instances. There are many other elements mixed with the steel to create other properties.

Steel is a major part of almost everything we interact with today; although aluminum is used in many items as well, primarily in automobiles.

.

Today, steel is being used, and becoming wildly popular in many areas of construction. In addition to the obvious steel used in standard screws, nuts and bolts, galvanized steel is often used to build the frame of many homes. By using steel for home construction, you not only have a strong foundation that will last a very long time, you are benefiting as well, by using in your home construction, a material that is known for being recycled.

Steel is a robust metal with a density of almost 500 pounds per cubic foot.

Steel can undergo a process called hot rolling. Hot rolled steel is heated to a temperature of proximately 1200 degrees Celsius. By undergoing such extreme heat, the steel becomes much stronger, thereby becoming much more durable without the risk of breaking or cracking.

Steel can undergo a process called cold rolling as well. The process of cold rolled creates a metal that is much more shiny than its hot rolled counterpart. In addition it can be rolled very thin and very smooth with a shiny finish.

Man is a rational animal, whose nature is solution seeking. He has evolved organs that help him solve cosmic problems. It is the nature of man to always explore and understand the underlying things of nature,he is always knowledge seeking.

It has always been in the nature of man to understand his environment,In ecological perspective, environment is defined as a natural world in which people, animals and

plants live, but from the social point of view it is the conditions that affect the behavior,

and the development of a person.

Most people have been gripped by the tentacle of one of the most villainous financial hydrozoa known as Poverty, because they have refused to explore their environment.

In a recent survey conducted, it was discovered that successful business executives

are those ones that have taken time to understudy and explore their environments, and in so doing have discovered what is lacking, and have made efforts to bring in such missing item, even scientist and inventors are all in the lime light of exploration, because they believe that there is still much to be added to what is Known.

Exploration involves finding out, inspecting and extracting, when exploring an environment, you began to build new visions, and discover new things, that would enhance your living conditions. Great energy is usually expended when carrying out exploration activities, and lot of patience is usually required, but one thing you are rest assured is that knowledge would be obtained.

One vital thing to take note of in exploring your environment is having an open mind and not a closed mind saturated with conceit, because for you to discover you need to accept all things, and afterwards define what is best for consumption for the mind.

The mind is the laboratory of life’s analytical activities, and its principal function is to analyze information that the body gets through the body’s neural network and endocrine organs. In summary, exploration entails discovery, and man should constantly seek to explore his environment, for the creator has given him the ability

Today, our world is going through a big economy crisis. A lot of investors in real estate go into bankruptcy, and only few of the big companies still stand. It affects the confidence of investors seriously, many investors choose to deposit their money into the bank but not invest in real estate. But hero always born in a hard time. If you make a good decision and invest in a real estate at present, I believe you will earn a big sum of money back. Following steps will increase your confidence.

Step1
The fed mortgage rate has been gone down. The fed mortgage rate is forecasted at 7% for 2009, and it is lower now. Keep your wants and needs close to heart and use your mind to find the right home now. If it is a smart decision, go bigger to stay at home. If you can afford it, now is the time to get a larger mortgage because it will be at a lesser rate than it will again anytime soon. Seize the rates of today.

Step2
The risk conceal the opportunities. Think of the current economy as a home sale of which you get to take advantage. Soon enough the economy will recover and you will have an excellent home and better mortgage rate than all those too shocked to act.Our economy has everyone terrified, but now is a great time to go after the home of dreams. Use the downturn to make things look up for you. This is quick set of tips for buying a home during a recession.

Step3
Good location exsit everywhere. You can find some great location for investment, and you only need to take advantage of a good deal and buy the house near a good school. Remember to choose to buy the house in good neighborhoods, even if the less attractive neighborhoods offer better deals, because there are many good location on other places. All of these will be benefit for your investment.

Step4
Taxes are paid back. If you apply some policies of reducing taxes at this time, you will get much more chances to success.Like china, their government has begun to save the market of real estate, and they are going to reduce much tax for flipper and buyer.
